Depart from your Marrakech hotel early morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m). Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, then continue to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). After lunch, drive through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley, where you'll spend the night in a charming riad.
After breakfast, drive to the dramatic Todra Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls. Enjoy a walk along the river. Continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.
